Deepika Farhan are just good friends

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's fluctuating love saga has been the talk of Bollywood. And now there is a twist in the tale.

Rumour mills are abuzz with talk of Deepika's growing closeness to Farhan Akhtar, her co-star in Karthik Calling Karthik.

The much-married Farhan refuses to comment on Ranbir and Deepika. "What's going on between them is completely between them. It's their personal relationship and I am nobody to comment on that," he says.

According to Farhan, there's nothing to clarify about his friendship with Deepika. "Nobody suspects when I SMS my film director or my director of photography. But somehow, if you SMS your co-actor, people start raising eyebrows. I don't get affected by it as people will say what they have to say," says Farhan.

Farhan and Deepika bonded well while shooting for Karthik Calling Karthik. And the director has a sweet message for his friend.

"The fact that we had a great time making this movie and that we struck a great friendship should not be lost. I hope it doesn't affect her just as it doesn't affect me. I look forward to meeting her whenever we do meet," he says.

Deepika Priyanka Dostana-Can't think straight

Mumbai, May 02: Who says that two actresses can’t get along? Super-hot Deepika Padukone and curvaceous Priyanka Chopra are setting unprecedented example of female bonding these days. The duo has been seen readily participating in each other’s parties, sharing jokes and laughing like best buddies.

A source informed, "Deepika was completely exhausted on April 30, having done an extensive photo-shoot for close to 10 hours, with looks spanning five decades; but Ranbir Kapoor and she still made it to Priyanka Chopra’s party for Hollywood hottie Gerard Butler."

Priyanka Chopra, who played the perfect hostess in the party, was all praises for her newfound girl buddy, Deepika. “Deepika is a great girl. I have known her well even before ‘Om Shanti Om’ released. I truly like her,” Priyanka said.

Another source informed that a while back, when Ranbir and Deepika threw a dinner for close friends, Priyanka was one of the first to arrive.
